 Hey ILC Parents! Summer 2008 is now in full swing and the kids are having a blast! It is always so amazing to greet so many “happy campers” as they come off the bus on Opening Day. Screams of excitement as friends embraced one another pumped up our new campers and staff for all that lies ahead over the next 8 weeks.
In only a few days of camp, many of your children have already accomplished more than you could ever anticipate: passing their deep water test, getting a part in the shows, successfully walking the tightwire in circus, improving a tennis swing, mounting a horse, making friendship bracelets for everyone in the bunk, strumming a guitar for the very first time,…the list can go on for pages.
As a reminder, session 1 ends on Thursday, July 17th. All campers leaving after session 1 will return to their designated bus stop locations at approximately 12 o'clock noon (give or take ½ hour). We will then board the buses with our session 2 campers and depart from each location at 1pm sharp. If your child will be coming up to camp on July 17th, please be sure to arrive at the bus stop by 12:30 the latest to ensure an on time departure.
We have some amazing activities and events in the works, including our traditional 4th of July music lunch, dinner cook out, and rockin’ firework display. Enjoy our daily summer photos and don’t forget to look for our week 1 video by the end of this first week. Guaranteed, you will feel as if you are a part of the experience here at ILC!
