At Island Lake, you will enjoy busy, productive days following your personalized
schedule of “majors” and “minors” that you design.
Every activity day consists of three majors and three minors. Each session
you choose your three majors, the activities you are most interested in,
and spend an hour a day in each major area. The instruction you receive
is geared to your interests, needs, and talents. Every morning you
choose your three minors for the day, allowing you the opportunity to try
a variety of different things and discover new interests. The Island Lake
program furthers your growth, independence, and sense of decision making
while giving you the responsibility to create your own exciting summer.
